What’s Holistic Healing? And how it Ties in with Anxiety

There are so many ins and outs when it comes to holistic healing and I know I covered just a tiny corner of it in my about me on the meaning but I am going to go a little deeper into it so you can really understand What’s Holistic Healing, and how it intertwines with our everyday anxiety!

A HISTORY LESSON ON “HOLISTIC HEALING”

When I started researching the natural processes of holistic healing the first word that drew my attention was “holistic” because at that time I was not to familiar with the term. So I decided to do Some digging on the term holistic itself so I could get a better breakdown. The word Holistic came from the term “Holism” which means understanding the human mind and behaviors. Holistic healing considers the body as a whole. Including your mind, body and spirit.

The actual term holistic healing was not introduced to the modern vocabulary until around the 1970s but was being practiced for over Some 5000 years ago in places such as China and India. Where they started to “replace” their every day medicine with the natural practices they were indulging in.

Now holistic healing is one of the most accepted forms of alternative medicine across the board!

Some treatments they offer are things such as lifestyle changes, exercising, dieting, becoming one with yourself spiritually, message therapies and aromatherapy. These treatments allow you to focus on fixing the CAUSE of the condition not just CONTROLLING the symptoms they bring. In this case we are going to be focusing on treating the anxiety that attacks our overall “Whole.”

MIXING IN A LITTLE ANXIETY WITH THAT.

So now we know all we need to know about the holistic aspect of things let’s go over the actual effects of anxiety and the meaning behind the disorder.

Anxiety as we all know is a very normal part of our everyday functioning lives, but for a number of us our anxiety isn’t just “sometimes.” Like myself anxiety can creep up and start controlling us every day emotionally, physically and mentally all at the same time. Down to where is feels impossible to function in society without the consent fear of over analyzing pretty much anything that we will come in contact with that day.

Anxiety is explained to be a nervous disorder. Which places us in a state of excessive uneasiness and worry. Which typically comes with compulsive behavior and or panic attacks. Some symptoms would include

  • Feeling Nervous or Fear
  • Fast Breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Lack Of Concentration
  • Sweats or Shakes
  • Not Being Able To CONTROL Concern or Worry
  • Insomnia
  • Avoiding Things, Places And People That Trigger Anxiety
  • Being In A State Of “PANIC

If you have ever felt any one of these symptoms you were most likely in a state of anxiety at Some point in your life. According to Statics anxiety affects about 18.1% of the population per year making it one of the most common mental illness in the U. S today. And only about a quarter of that is receiving treatment medically.

So like me a lot of us just keep pushing in hopes of finding the best treatments and cures out there. But with my knowledge and education I am certain I can bring Some good natural based treatments to the table to where we can get a good kick start in the healing process that will bring us back down. In order to fight off the consent state of “AHHHHHH.”

WHY THE HOLISTIC HEALING METHOD IS SO EFFECTIVE

The holistic healing method has been proven to be more effective than modern day medicine because of its overall focal point. The treatment is created to look at the patient as a person and the disease as the disease. Now how we end up treating the disease is to focus on the overall cause of the patient, starting with curing all the elements of the body. Starting with the mind and focusing on the “why.”

More than sometimes anxiety starts there in the mind where we start to over think every aspect of our lives so much causing chaos and turbulence in the mind. Which then causes the panic stage or as I call it the “freak out”. Believe it or not panicking and anxiety itself is a tiring process for the body. Which is why we always tend to feel so tired and drained after basically fighting with ourselves all day.

Holistic healing is created to treat the overall patient not just the symptom. Therefore lessening the chances of any other illness or disease to make their selves comfy there! And that’s the start of a life long journey for achieving overall life balances!

HOW WE WILL BE HEALING ANXIETY WITH HOLISTIC TREATMENTS

Holistic healing focuses on the body as ONE and finds the connection between your body, mind and also spirit.

It is believed that if there is an in balance with either your physical, emotional or spiritual health it can affect your overall health, and with anxiety it pretty much affects ALL parts. Draining them equally. So what we will be working on together here is making sure that all elements are giving the T.L.C that they so rightfully deserve. That in turn we can be considered well as a whole and be able to tame the anxiety as we go!

WHAT TREATMENTS WILL BE INCLUDED!

Some treatments that I will be walking you all through that will help us with our pesky anxiety will be, Body Massages with (oils), aromatherapy, Yoga, Mediation and Some cleansing methods including Teas, diets, Herbs and crystals!

I will be making individual post per lesson and take you with me step by step so not only will you know exactly how “to” conduct these practices. But be able to gain more knowledge of “why” each one of these practices are important and how they each will help us control and claim our anxiety Naturally.
