There is literally nothing better than a nice cup of freshly brewed tea no matter what time of the day it is. From morning to night with the option of hot or cold, tea remains one of the most consumed beverages in the world! Today we are going to cover the different kinds of tea and how it meshes so well with anxiety, helping soothe us while quenching our thirst deliciously.
Herbal Tea
Believe it or not our beloved sweet herbal tea is not known to be considered a “True Tea.” Reason for this is herbal teas are made by infusing herbs that are NOT from the actual Tea Plant leaves itself.
Instead, herbal teas are infused with different herbs, flowers, roots, seeds and dried fruits. Now just because these particular teas are not made from the actual tea plant does not mean that it lacks any of the helpful elements that comes from the “regular tea.” Some herbal teas in fact contain the regular tea inside of them. You can find a lot of these herbal teas actually Mixed with two different kinds of herbs in one for example you can find a green pomegranate tea or even a cinnamon sage tea!
This method of mixing the different herbs allows us to experience all the benefits from the different herbs. Ultimately helping us fight through more than one issue at the same time. This is great for days when not only are we struggling with our anxiety but we are dealing with a little back pain as well. We can mix Lavender (known for its relaxing components) and Chamomile (known for being able to reduce muscle pains) into one cup and we are good as gold.
This exciting spin on our modern day tea is becoming more popular day by day. And just as effective when it comes to our everyday health Naturally .
A few of my favorite herbal teas are
- Lavender Tea
- Chamomile Tea
- Ginger Tea
- Peppermint Tea
- Lemon Tea
- Sage Tea
These are just some of my go to herbal teas. But the list of these babies stretch miles long. Not only are herbal teas a big YUM factor they also have a lot of benefits that come from them.
Including helping you unwind and relax during your long days, keeping your immune system strong and even being able to help reduce some minor aches and pains. Herbal tea also helps give our digestive system the break it so desperately needs at times.

Is just another name for our familiar standard tea. Regular tea is one of the more popular demanded teas. These teas are made from the leaves of the plant Camellia Sinensis most commonly known as the Tea plant. The Camellia Sinensis is made by distilling the oils from the tea leaves and this gem is in about two-thirds of the world’s tea today even in some herbal teas
Some regular Teas are known as
The way these particular teas are created from the leaves is very interesting in fact. They use the baby or smaller leaves to create the green teas, the older or bigger leaves to make the dark, black and oolong tea’s and the buds of the leaves are used to make the pure white tea’s.
Regular tea is known for the health benefits that they bring, making it the most popular kind of tea.
